Even if I have an open passageway before using it, my passageway will get blocked after a few seconds of use, and just as before, I walk away worse than how I started. It took a moment, but then just like in the videos I had watched, the water started pouring right through, though not flowing as much as I had seen in said videos. And now rather than just being congested, I had a runny nose to boot. I was clear in both nostrils and could breath.
I'm nasally congested most of the time. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm following as instructed. I followed instructions and made many more attempts over the next few months, but most of the time I can't even get it to flow through my nose. I was hoping that this would help relieve some of the congestion (and praying that it might be some sort of miracle treatment that would relieve ALL of the congestion).
But after a few minutes, I went back to being congested and it was even worse than before. I see that many other people here are getting good results, so I hate giving it only one star, but I just figured I'd let everyone know my experience. As soon as it arrived I read the instructions, tested it, and was surprised at how comfortable it was (although still a little awkward). For the first few minutes after finishing, I felt pretty good.
I felt better in about 15 minutes. It seems to help with allergic reactions, exposure to dust, and general sinus headaches caused by pressure/weather. I don't normally rave about small plastic pots, but this one saved my sanity. Since then, I've used it every time I feel a sinus headache coming on and I avoid the headache altogether. I have recommended this product to several friends, who have all had similar results. I was on antibiotics for 2 weeks to cure a sinus infection but it refused to move out until I flushed my sinus passages with this Neti Pot. Wonderful.
MY KIDS, 8 & 7, WERE ABLE TO USE THE PRODUCT WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. EVEN SAFE & EFFECTIVE FOR KIDS. MY ENTIRE FAMILY USES THE NETTI POT, & MY MOTHER IS A STRONG BELIEVER IN THIS PRODUCT. DEFINITELY WORKS VERY WELL. THE SALT SOLUTION WENT IN AS FAR AS MY EAR CANAL & GAVE A VERY DEEP CLEANSE.
To make a long story short I did not have any sinus infections, only two very mild colds. To put it simply this product has changed my life. I have been on every antihistamine available and have developed resistance to all but one, Zyrtec. If you have allergies you must try this little miracle.
People I work with have even noticed that I have stayed well this past year and ask me what I have done. I use the SinuCleanse neti pot and I love it. It doesn't work over night if your symptoms are as severe as mine because your sinuses have a lot of healing to do but it will work if you use it religiously. I used it every day and twice a day when I had a cold.
He had done everything he could and then I saw Dr. I found out that you must be consistent with the use of your little pot. For years I have suffered in the fall and winter months with terrible sinus infections. I breathe better than I have in years and I will be using a neti pot for the rest of my life.
I got my neti pot last fall and I started using it at the beginning of my worst allergy season. My doctor said I needed to see an ENT. Oz on Oprah.
And keep your head tilted forward. Try it, and if you don't like it at first, keep trying. I certainly wouldn't be breathing so well through my nose.
At first, I just tried it once, found it unpleasant, and put it away without really giving it much of a chance.To my surprise, a few weeks later when I went to my allergist to beg for some sinus relief, the Neti Pot was #1 on his list of suggestions for controlling sinus issues (along with a regimen of decongestants and nose sprays, naturally). This thing is magic. I've had this product for two months now.
I honestly don't even know what I'd do without it, at this point. You will not be disappointed, once you get the hang of it. I admit, I was totally shocked that a doctor had just suggested the Neti Pot, considering I'd already dismissed it as hippie junk.
I gave it a few more tries and started to get the hang of it, and now I'm a total zealot.
